ActiveSMART is a hard drive diagnostic and health status monitoring software. It uses SMART technology to monitor the hard drive health, performance, temperature, free space and other vital parameters.
Upon ActiveSMART installation, you will see its icon and a hard drive temperature in the system tray (near the clock.) From this moment on it will check your drives for potential problems and notify you before they happen. You can right-click on the ActiveSMART icon to open the program popup menu. To open the ActiveSMART window just choose the option "Show ActiveSMART".
